中央社区学院 men’s basketball is pleased to announce that sophomore forward 凯文·库克 has been named to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II All-America Second Team.
Cook started in 26 of CCC’s 27 games and led the Raiders in scoring and rebounding with 14 points and 10.场均5个篮板. He recorded a team-best 13 double-doubles in 2021-22.
“I am extremely proud of Kevin, and he absolutely deserves this recognition,” said CCC head coach John Ritzdorf. “His performance kept improving throughout the season and he was playing his best basketball in our toughest games late in the year. Kevin cared more about winning than he did about his individual statistics. Off the floor, he was our emotional leader and really energized our team.”
Cook was previously named to the NJCAA All-Region 9 Team and the Nebraska 社区 College Athletic Conference All-Conference Team.
A graduate of Bay View High School in Milwaukee, Wis., Cook began his collegiate basketball career at 爱荷华州 Lakes 社区 College in Estherville, 爱荷华州, 在转入CCC之前. He is a business major and is on track to graduate in 五月.
